Those in attendance who had never heard an Anderson played unplugged before were surprised at how much tone is available for the Anderson-built SA1R, SA1, H3+ pickups to work with. The sleek 1 5/8th-nutwidth, T/A Standard neck profile was perfect for Asa to hang on to while negotiating whitewater, executing complex chording and playing lighting fast single-note runs. The Madagascar rosewood fingerboard shed water well while adding a full low-end, softening the mid-tones and adding a touch of angelic-like highs.

This is a trip that we will remember always and this is the instrument that Asa will forever treasure but we do strongly caution you at home not to participate in water sports with your Anderson. After all, Asa is a highly trained professional.
