Baritom Drop Top
Maple Top on Alder
Burnished Orange with Binding

Everywhere are friends. In fact most people are just friends we don’t yet know. Grasp this and it can truly make us rich. As the world shrinks it becomes even easier as we allow relationships to grow. Peace that will eventually envelop the whole world begins this way.

Alain is an Anderson Guitar Player and Anderson friend who lives in France. Not only does he play a Bora to Transparent Blue Burst, Crowdster but look what he has envisioned and asked us to create for him this time.

It is the thunderous roar of a baritone instrument he seeks—not just any baritone but an Anderson Baritom. It is quite possible that he longs for the longer 28 5/8-inch scale length, which allows for “drop” tunings and increased string girth while still retaining familiar, non-floppy string tension. The result is tremendous low-register power unrivaled by anything that comes before it. As the cello has its place in an orchestra, the Baritom occupies similar frequencies in the band—which in today’s music has become the seat of power and intensity for many songs. But baritone instruments can also be found filling out tracks and adding dimension to songs throughout all of recorded music—sort of the recording engineer’s little secret.

To allure all those attracted to visual beauty, Alain opted for the Drop Top version of Baritom with the choosing of an Alder back and “Personalized Selection” Flame Maple-top body finished in Burnished Orange (formerly known as 6120 Tiger). A more stunning example of natural beauty does not exist.

An all-Maple neck complements these dramatic earth tones and lends control to the outermost extremities of the bandwidth. Outfitted with an always-intelligible set of SD1-R, SD1- and HO1+ pickups, this Baritom will command its assigned sonic slot with distinction and character.

With love from America to France, ladies and gentlemen may we introduce to you Alain’s new Baritom Drop Top from his friends across the ocean.
