Custom Graphics-Hot Rod Flames

The universe is run by a specific set of benevolent cosmic laws operating behind the scenes. They go unnoticed by most, but their influence is clearly evident to those with experience that have mastered the art of paying attention. Those aware of this cause and effect process are viewed as possessing wisdom. One of these laws states: It is not what you do but how you do it. If it is done to bring true joy and quality to others and yourself simultaneously, it aligns with principle.

Such is the case with guitars painted like hot rods. It is all in how you do it, what you do it on and for what reason. Consider the application of a gorgeous show car paint job to a Dodge, Viper—one of the most high performance cars in the world; 450 hp and a 192mph top end—you get way more than basic transportation and with an exclusive custom look all your own. Automakers always display concept vehicles at Auto Shows because they feel it breathes life and fun into what they do. We can say no less about this T Classic and we have Brian Harris at the Brook Mays Custom Shop to thank for this permutation.

There is no greater compliment than to have someone of Brian’s experience and musical abilities, who sees and sells all guitars, choose to play Anderson. We are honored. Thank you Brian.

Brian hasn’t yet seen his Hot Rod Flame, T Classic guitar. He has been asking for pictures but we put him off because we thought it would be fun if we all surprised him here together. “Surprise Brian!” He is now seeing his guitar for the very first time with you. To create the proper ambience for the presentation of this impressive instrument, let’s all sing the words of the following description over the classic Beach Boys’ tune “Little Deuce Coupe”—a very appropriate Hot Rod/Electric Guitar thing I think.

Intro:
Hot Rod Flame, “T”
He don’t know what he’s got
Hot Rod, Flame “T”
He don’t know what he’s got

Verse 1:
We’ll we’re not braggin’ Bri so don’t put us down
But you got the coolest set of strings around
Plug into an amp and you won’t have to try
With our thirty-over neck you know your fingers will fly

It’s your Hot Rod Flame “T”
I think you know what you got

Verse 2:
Just a solid ash bod with a hot rod theme
As you step onto the stage you’ll hear the grown men scream
The swamp ash speaks with a musical snap
While the mint-white vintage pickguard is its classic cap

It’s your Hot Rod Flame “T”
I think you know what you got

Bridge:
Its got a custom TD one at the neck it’s a plus
Cuz Brian Harris said that added girth is a must
And on the other end he jams a TD three
I’ll bet you guessed, it’s a big plus pickup

Verse 3:
And steppin’ on the stage as the lights go down
From the first giant chord your music will resound
The maple neck will keep, giant ash-tone tight
You know you’re in charge of the gig tonight

It’s your Hot Rod Flame “T”
I think you know what you got

It’s your Hot Rod Flame “T”
Now you know what you got

(Repeat and fade out…)
